The Placencia Lobsterfest - just like the Caye Caulker Lobsterfest, and Dia de San Pedro Festivities - were held this past weekend, June 27 - 29. The Placencia Lobsterfest, despite the southern part of Belize being cut-off due to the washing away of the causeway at the Kendal Bridge, was a success!
The Lobsterfest was filled with fun events and activities. There was a food contest, a bicycle race, fishing tournament, games, bake sale, and lots of raffles, and of course lobster, lobster, and more delicious lobster!
