San Pedro's 2nd Annual, 8-day Lobsterfest came to a close this past Saturday with a Block Party at Central Park and a Fair at Saca Chispas Field.

Thats a lot of lobster for real DB... I wonder why they just couldn;t do 2 days?
 
Ah love lobster. Nice pics Merc! We know some fisherman who bring us lobster, rite on da beach. I cook, grill and mash them to salads till dem all gone!

It's sort of deceiving. While the Lobsterfest does indeed officially run for 8 days, the 1st day was the day before lobster season offically opened. The first 7 days are small dinners held at different restaurants (one per day - the press release is in the Announcements Forum). The Block Party on the last day, is truly the only event whereby everyone can get into the action. Not everyone can fit inside, or afford the restaurants featured in the Lobsterfest.
