The Concerned Belizean Association
of Los Angeles

1977 - Present

A Brief History of the Association:

C.B.A. as it is called since November 1977, has been active throughout the Greater Los Angeles area serving Belizeans and Friends in all phases of Community Activities. C.B.A. has also succeeded in making life more interesting for its supporters by serving as a clearinghouse responsible for disseminating information relative to Belize and Belizeans. Other functions entail sponsoring social, cultural, recreational and educational events at the local level.

In Belize, C.B.A. have been very active in donating medical and health supplies to the Belize hospital and other needy institutions. We are sponsors of a Scholarship Program, which awards High School scholarships yearly to underprivileged students. Through the Y.W.C.A. of Belize we also sponsor a program for the senior citizens.

With your continue support, C.B.A. hopes to continue and expand on these programs.

C.B.A. takes great pleasure in presenting the annual "Day in the Park Festival" at Hollywood Park celebrating Belizean Independence Day and the Battle of St. George's Caye.

A non-profit organization serving the Belizean/American Community.
