Leslie ismoving toward the north near 8 mph (13 km/h), and this generalmotion should continue through Friday night. A sharp turn to theeast is expected this weekend.Maximum sustained winds remain near 80 mph (130 km/h) with highergusts. Small fluctuations in intensity are likely during thenext day or two.Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km) from thecenter and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 205 miles(335 km).The estimated minimum central pressure is 975 mb (28.80 inches).HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND----------------------SURF: Large swells generated by Leslie will continue to affectportions of the southeastern coast of the United States, Bermuda,and the Bahamas during the next few days.
