Dorian ismoving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h), and this motion shouldcontinue through tonight. A turn toward the west-northwest isexpected on Monday, with this motion continuing through Tuesdaynight. On the forecast track, the center of Dorian is expected tobe near the Windward Islands late Monday or early Tuesday and moveinto the eastern Caribbean Sea on Tuesday.Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Doriancould be near hurricane strength by Tuesday over the easternCaribbean Sea.Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 25 miles (35 km)from the center.The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND----------------------RAINFALL: Dorian is expected to produce total rain accumulations of2 to 4 inches in portions of the Lesser Antilles, with possibleisolated maximum amounts of 6 inches.WIND: Tropical storm conditions are likely in the warning are bylate Monday.
