Eleven Year Old Girl Comatose After Vicious Sex Assault

An eleven-year-old girl was raped on Monday and the child’s injuries were so severe that she remains hospitalised after undergoing surgery. Police report that she was sleeping in her upstairs bedroom at the family’s home in Ladyville Village when a burglar entered the two-storey building. But he didn’t take anything, instead he headed straight to the little girl’s room. He took a pillow off the bed, put it over the girl’s mouth, held it there to stop her from screaming and raped the child repeatedly. When he was finished, he left the same way he had come in, and the little girl went to tell her mother what had happened.
Investigations later revealed that the man gained access to the home through a downstairs window that was unsecured. Investigations have also revealed that the intruder only entered the home to rape his young victim. Also disturbing is the report that the man is no stranger to the residence and had been there previously to socialize. We understand that the mother was able to provide the police with information that has given the authorities the name of their suspect. According to Ladyville Police, their man is on the run but they strongly believe he will soon be in their custody. When the suspect is arrested he is expected to be charged for rape, maim and burglary.

Earlier on we told you about the hideous rape of an 11-year-old girl. Well the following story of another sex crime is even more disturbing. In the Supreme Court this morning, a 39-year-old pleaded guilty to incest with his 16-year-old daughter.
The teenager who is now 18 – is the mother of two children, the second one for her father. It first happened in April of 2005 in a small village in Northern Belize and a number of times after that. The girl told the court that her father threatened to cripple her mother if she told anyone. She eventually had to tell her mother when she became pregnant. The child was given up for adoption.
Sentencing for the father is set for next Monday, February 25.
